The League of Imams and Alfas in the South-West, Edo
and Delta States have approved the appointment of an Ibadan-based businessman,
Alhaji Dawud Akinola, as the new Aare Musulumi of Yoruba-land.
This approval happened yesterday during the meeting held at its
secretariat in Ibadan, Oyo State.
Alhaji Dawud Akinola will succeed late business mogul and philanthropist, Alhaji AbdulAzeez Arisekola-Alao who passed on last year. We say congrats to him.
