The governor of Oyo state, Abiola Ajimobi has joined all well-meaning
Nigerians to celebrate the life and death of the colossus, HID Awolowo.
In their joint tribute message, Ajimobi, Osun state governor,
Rauf Aregbesola and former governor of Ekiti state, Kayode Fayemi have describe
the matriarch of the Awolowo dynasty as a jewel of inestimable value and that
her demise is a great loss, not only to the Yoruba people but to Nigerians in
their entirety.
