The Vice Chancellor of the University of Ibadan has extoled
the virtues exemplified by the matriarch of the Awolowo family, HID Awolowo.
Speaking during his condolence visit to the Awolowo family
at Ikenne, Ogun state, he said that the late HID Awolowo represented the best
of womanhood, an icon and an ideal lady. He stated further that the Awolowo
name is a symbol that shall live forever, unforgotten.
