The Social Democratic Party (SDP) governorship candidate in Oyo
State, Seyi Makinde, has urged Nigerians to use this period Eid to pray
and work for global peace and prosperity.
He described the festival as special because it commemorates the
changing of misfortune to fortune as exemplified by the lives of Prophets
Ibrahim and Ismail.
