NLC Boss Says They Never Agreed To A Salary Cut With Gov. Ajimobi

 

Speaking at a radio program, the NLC chairman in Oyo state, Mr Waheed Olojede said against the backdrop of comments by Governor Abiola Ajimobi on a radio program at the weekend that they agreed to a cut in the salary of workers was false.

Olojede noted that it would be inconceivable for the labor union to discuss a cut in salaries when the current minimum wage was due for a review. He added that the government’s restructuring had nothing to do with a reduction in salaries but in the number of ministries. We will not agree to a cut, he emphasised.
