Oyo Along With Ogun And Ekiti Get N56bn Bailout


The Central Bank of Nigeria's Director of Corporate Communications, Mr Ibrahim Mu'azu has said that a total of N56bn naira has been paid to various commercial bank accounts run by Oyo, Ekiti and Ogun states as bailout funds.

According to him, Oyo has received N24.606bn, Ogun N20bn and Ekiti N9.6bn. He said the CBN's approval of payment to the three states brings to a total number of 15 states that have benefitted from President Buhari's bailout plan.
