Influx Of Foreigners Portends Danger For Oyo If Not Checked—NSCDC

The Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps has pointed to the alarming rate at which foreigners come into Oyo state and especially Ibadan unchecked, and noting that it portends great security risks.

NSCDC Commandant, Abdulah Gana who was represented by the Oyo state Commandant of the Corps, Adebayo Ayeni said at a workshop in Ibadan on Culture of Peace and Non-Violence in Nigeria said that although the influx has not led to increased crime rate but there has to be adequate security to forestall them.

He also assured that the Corps will help tame the incessant attack of local farmers by Fulani herdsmen.
