The kidnap of eminent Yoruba and
Afenifere leader and Chieftain of the Social Democratic Party (SDP) Chief Olu
Falae by Fulani herdsmen has sparked outrage across the South West with people proffering
solution on how to get the leader back. Among them is SDP chieftain in Oyo
State, Mr Seyi Makinde who has called for the unconditional release of Falae
whom he described as a statesman who has dedicated his life to ensuring good
life and social justice for all Nigerians, irrespective of tribe, religion or
political affiliations.
The Fulani who kidnapped Chief Falae
have reportedly demanded for a ransom of N100m to be paid within 24 hours of
their demand.
