
Chairman of the Oyo State Football Association (OSFA) Chief
James Odeniran, said in a statement over the weekend that a caretaker committee
to run affairs of the IFA pending the outcome of investigation being carried
out by a probe panel set up for the purpose, has been constituted. This
development occurred as a result of allegation bordering on corruption and
non-football related matters.
According to reports, the statement read in part that: “Over
a period of time, we have been inundated with petitions and oral complaints by
various stakeholders in Ibadanland and Oyo State over the activities of the
board of Ibadan Football Association (IFA).
