Court Dissolves Marriage On Account Of Incest

A Customary Court, Ibadan, Oyo State, on Thursday, dissolved the marriage between Nike and Segun Akingbade on account of incest between the man and his daughter.

Mr Ademola Odunade, President of the court sitting at Mapo said that in the interest of peaceful co-existence, the union between Nike and Segun had been terminated. Adding that Segun shall, therefore, pay a monthly feeding allowance of N10,000 for the upkeep of the four children in addition to being responsible for their education and other welfare.

Nike told the court that Segun was having carnal knowledge of their daughter who is also their first child and was caught red-handed by her own brother, Taiwo Adewale

Ibadan Court Ends Four-Year Old Marriage Over Sexual Dissatisfaction

A certain Mr Olalekan Tajudeen has been granted a go-ahead by a Customary court sitting in Mapo, Ibadan, to end his marriage of four years to Modinat whom he filed a suit against for allegedly starving him sexually.

The president of the court, Ademola Odunade said that the bound of love no longer exist between the couple and for the sake of peaceful coexistence, their marital status had to be dissolved.

Modinaat however pleaded that she still loves Tajudeen and that she had earlier explained a medical condition which she operated to him. The court however stats that there is room for appeal in the case of any dissatisfaction.
